Aquarius is a climatic and at first glance uncomplicated 2.5D adventure carrying us directly into the dark waters of the deepest oceans unknown to mankind. Sitting at the helm of a small but well-armed submarine we get the task of finding an antidote to the virus that has been rolling the human species for a long time. Apparently the cure is inside a cruel cetacean, which, apart from the fact that it is still hidden, does not show any willingness to cooperate at all.
As we travel through endless underwater labyrinths, we also focus on an additional mission to identify new forms of life. We are assisted in this by a special scanner, which will scan the encountered forms of life and provide appropriate information about them. However, it should be skillfully used, because with it running, we will not be able to repel the violent and often unexpected attacks of hostile sea creatures.
Along with the duration of the game we gain special energy points, thanks to which we can expand, rearm and modernize our ship. This helps you fight enemies and allows you to travel through underwater territories a little faster. The game is full of puzzles and all kinds of tasks to perform, which causes that sometimes we can turn into a tangle of underwater corridors, but it only makes the production more attractive.
It should be remembered that at selected moments we can leave the cockpit and personally explore the ocean depths. The pace of the game is deliberately not too high, to better reflect the climate prevailing several kilometers under water, where at any time can meet us something amazing or just something that the eye of a man has not seen before.... Aquarius has a nice audiovisual setting, and all struggles in the game are conducted very pleasantly.
Despite the overall ease of the game, the title will require a lot of patience and self-denial in pursuit of the goal.
