Adobe Flash Builder is a platform enabling the preparation of advanced web applications (Rich Internet Applications) based on the popular Adobe Flash technology. RIAs use the potential of modern computers, all calculations (interaction, data filtering, etc.) are burdened with the client's computer, thus releasing server resources and connection load. The editor of this environment is Flex Builder based on Eclipse in which projects can be created using ActionScript 3.0 languages and MXML tags.

The package is equipped with advanced modules: Flex Data Services (support for advanced data exchange and synchronization) and Flex Charting (responsible for visualizing dynamic statistics).
