The Android Platform Tools package contains the necessary tools to unlock Android devices, install alternative firmware and applications from your computer. It does not require installation, just unpack to the directory where we will work with it. ADB (Android Debug Bridge) is an interface for debugging on the Android operating system.

It contains client and server tools that communicate with each other, supported from the system console (cmd.exe or PowerShell). Communication with the mobile device is via USB cable. For the computer to "see" the connected device in ADB mode, the Android option Debugging USB (Settings > Programming Options > Debugging USB) must be enabled.

Knowing the syntax of the command, you can copy files from, and to the memory of the device, install and uninstall applications, make backups, and many other interesting things. ADB starts with the adb command in the console, followed by an internal command of the tool. For example:

Fastboot is a diagnostic protocol used to modify the Android file system from a mobile computer connected to your device. For Fastboot to work, the Android device must be running in bootloader mode. It will then accept Fastboot commands from the computer, allowing, among other things, to run the device:

These are not tools for beginners. With their help you can damage your device, in the worst cases even irreversibly.
