Acronis Disk Director is a versatile tool that allows you to easily and quickly manage hard drives installed on your computer, recover deleted partitions and protect your data against loss. Among the large number of options offered you can find the basic ones such as creating, deleting, dividing, merging, formatting, copying and renaming partitions, but also less common in this type of software - converting partition type, detecting errors on the disk, defragmentation, disassembling the volume on several disks or creating mirror archives. The latter, by creating copies of valuable data on another disk, provides protection against loss of data.

Another noteworthy feature is Acronis Recovery Expert, which allows you to restore lost partitions on disks. Built-in bootable media generator makes it possible to use the program even if the operating system does not start. Acronis Disk Director supports FAT 16, FAT 32, NTFS, Ext2, Ext3, Reiser FS3 and Linux SWAP file systems, supporting volumes up to 2 TB on MBRs and any size on GPT drives.
